Lopez Rodas, a presidential candidate for the National Action Party (PAN), has addressed Mayans in their native language (Kakchiquel) in a show of support for their cause. His was attempting to redeem the PAN party after controversial comments by a PAN affiliate insulted the opposition candidate and Maya supporter Alvaro Colom.
