Cultural Survival board member Laura Graham, associate professor of anthropology at the University of Iowa, will discuss the documentary Owners of the Water, about Xavante communities in Brazil mobilizing to protect their riverine resources. Graham will be joined by the film's co-directors Caimi Waissé (Xavante) and David Hernández Palmar (Wayuu), March 27 at the National Museum of the American Indian in New York as part of a panel discussion Collaborations Across Borders.
