After an eight-year campaign, the Haida have retrieved and reburied the remains of 150 of their ancestors that were stowed away in the Field Museum in Chicago. The bodies were taken from the Queen Charlotte Islands by anthropologists over 100 years ago when the Smallpox-ridden Haida were thought to be dying out.
