The European Commission against Racism and Intolerance recently released five reports on the state of racism, xenophobia, anti-Semitism, and intolerance in Belgium, Bulgaria, Norway, Slovakia, and Switzerland. The reports indicate continuing mistreatment of Roma in Bulgaria and Slovakia, including police brutality and forced sterilization of Roma women.
