Indigenous women claiming to have been raped by members of the Mexican army are now victims of lost evidence and foot-dragging in the investigation of their cases. Despite pleas by international rights leaders and the UN to hand over these kinds of cases from military to civilian courts, President Vicenete Fox has made no effort to do so.
