This week the Arts section of The New York Times included an enthusiastic review of “Yanomami: The Spirit of the Forest”, the groundbreaking exhibit currently running at the Cartier Foundation of Contemporary Art in Paris. Combining indigenous art with photographs and video of Yanomami celebrations, the exhibit includes a number of works that incorporate both Yanomami and Western artistic traditions, including video installations and documentaries. “Yanomami: The Spirit of the Forest” runs through Oct. 12
