The World Wildlife Fund has committed Sh80 million to a project training pastoralist communities residing in the Lake Bogoria Game Reserve, on techniques of environmental conservation and wildlife co-existence. The project manager has voiced concerns over poaching and water diversion in the reserve, with environmental pollution leading to increased flamingo deaths.
