Yayasan Peduli Aids (YPA), an AIDS awareness organization in Papua, claims that the gold and copper mining giant Freeport is partly to blame for the high incidence of HIV/AIDS cases in the mining town of Timika, where an estimated 40,000 people have been infected with the disease.
