On November 25th, the Navajo Nation Resources Committee unanimously accepted a ‘memorandum of understanding’ for a nearly $6 million study of the “C” aquifer as a replacement to the “N” aquifer – the main water source used by the Peabody Coal Company. The memorandum now lies before the Inter-governmental Relations Committee for approval.
