UNITED STATES: $400,000 granted for Hopi language preservation

The Hopi Tribe has received $400,000 from the Arizona Inter-Tribal Trust Fund for language and cultural preservation. The majority of the fund will go to the Hopilavayi Program which uses technology and archaeology to study Hopi language and culture.
