THAILAND: Government forcing indigenous people off land
The government is evicting an indigenous Akha community of more than 1,000 people for an unspecific project in the Hooh Yoh village of Ampur Mae Faluang, Chiangrai. The government has not identified alternative living or farming sites for the Akha.
