Harold Keke, one of the more notorious rebel warlords, turned himself into the authorities, being charged with a number of crimes including the murder of six indigenous Anglican Priests from the Melanesian Brotherhood. Keke’s fight for indigenous rights began in the late 1990s and became further involved in the subsequent ethnic war that has plagued the island nation.
