The Peasant Movement of Aguan (MCA) declared they will persist in reclaiming a plot of land taken from them by the National Agrarian Institute four years ago. MCA claims that the National Agrarian Institute has not only violated federal law 92-2001, but is also guilty of threats and violence toward former peasant occupants, including the death of one man in December of 2003.
