A bilingual safety signage bylaw in the city of Igaluit will ensure that all construction signs are printed in both English and Inuktitut. Meanwhile, Nunavut’s language commissioner, Eva Aariak, aims to expand such signage rules to include road signs, utility bills and medical prescriptions.
