The Carcross Tagish First Nation signed a deal with the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway to build a 120 room resort hotel overlooking Lake Bennett in Carcross, Yukon. The collaborators hope to transform Carcross into Yukon’s premier tourist destination, boosting the local economy. They are expected to host a tourism meeting this fall.
