Traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander games will be introduced to the curriculum of after school sports programs in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), according to sports minister Ted Quinlan. Mr. Quinlan attests to the importance of the program in promoting indigenous culture. Thirty-two people in the ACT have been accredited as traditional game leaders.
