Tex G. Hall, president of the National Congress of American Indians, will meet with tribal leaders from across the country on Saturday for the “One Voice for Change” summit at the Gila River Indian Community. Organizers hope that the event will unite tribes against common difficulties, giving them a more powerful voice in both local and federal governments. Hall looks forward to addressing broad issues like healthcare and due respect as true sovereign nations.
