Colectivo Cine Luna was formed in 2018 in Santo Domingo Zanatepec, Oaxaca, with the purpose of bringing narrative, documentary, and independent films to public spaces. Its objective is to generate spaces for dialogue and participation for children and youth through film, radio, and theater, promoting actions that contribute to community well being.
Their project, "The Community We Dream of," seeks to provide the tools for youth to recognize their territory and realize their dreams. They will carry out a series of audiovisual production workshops and a community survey to motivate the participation of youth through education and audiovisual content production. These will make visible the issues, concerns, and aspirations that the youth have about community life.
