Guatemala Radio Project March Update

Date: 03/25/2009Training workshops have continued in Guatemala to help community radio volunteers gain crucial skills in Internet use and radio content acquisition. GRP director Mark Camp spent a week in Guatemala last month coordinating with lobbyists preparing the newest draft of the bill that willl recognize community radio. Meanwhile, film crews shot hours of footage at community radio stations and interns have been transcribing hours of interviews for a short documentary film on the GRP that Cultural Survival will release next month.
