Estamos al umbral de una nueva era digital, una época moldeada por la IA, los macrodatos y la toma de decisiones algorítmica. Desde modelos de lenguaje hasta sistemas de vigilancia, desde mapas de conservación hasta herramientas educativas, la IA está transformando el funcionamiento del mundo. Pero, como todo sistema dominante anterior, la IA arrastra consigo los sesgos, exclusiones y lógicas de explotación de sus creadores.

El Fondo de los Guardianes de la Tierra (KOEF, por sus siglas en inglés) se enorgullece de anunciar nuestras alianzas 2025 con comunidades Indígenas.

The fight against climate change critically depends on the involvement of young women, who are among the most vulnerable to its impacts. Women and girls face disproportionate impacts from climate change, largely because they make up the majority of the world's poor and rely heavily on local natural resources for their livelihoods. In developing countries, they are responsible for up to 80% of food production.

These vital, biodiverse regions regulate the global climate by collecting carbon and producing oxygen. For millions of Indigenous Peoples, rainforests are homelands, providing food, medicine, and cultural identity. Indigenous Traditional Ecological Knowledge is crucial for forest sustainability and environmental resilience.
