The Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) has launched a drive to register Native Hawaiians after failing to do so in the previous attempts. The new OHA registry is a better-financed and more refined attempt to verify Hawaiian ancestry. According to OHA Trustee Linda Dela Cruz “It’s time for us to know who we are and where we are so we can move forward together.”
